Media accreditation to Assembly now open


General information

This is the page for media accreditation to the LWF Assembly in Windhoek, Namibia, in May 2017. 

Media accreditation is granted exclusively to members of the media* (print, photo, radio, television, film, news agencies and online media). Access to the press facilities is reserved for accredited journalists.  All badges will be issued on an individual basis.

Final deadline for applications: 28 February 2017.

If you need a visa for Namibia, please note that you are responsible for obtaining one yourself.


The accreditation process is managed by the LWF Office for Communications Services. For questions on the accreditation process, please contact Arni Svanur Danielsson, Head of Communication.

* Independent broadcast or film production companies must provide a letter from a broadcast organization or film distributor, which has committed to air or distribute the work. 

* Online media (subject to all other criteria, online media may include news outlets, blogs, vlogs and others) must meet the following condition. The website must belong to a recognized media organization and have a specific, verifiable street address and a telephone number.

Freelance Journalists: Freelance journalists, including photo and videographers, must provide clear documentation that they are on assignment from a specific news organization or publication. A valid assignment letter from that news organization or publication is required.
