Sent to “bring the gospel of reconciliation to all people”

20 SEP 2023 | At the closing worship of the Thirteenth Assembly and installation of a new Council, LWF General Secretary Burghardt emphasized the call to "bring the gospel of reconciliation to all people” and build “a trustworthy world.”

New perspectives for the ecumenical journey

Ecumenical leaders meet together in Krakow, as Lutherans and Catholics present a joint statement looking forward to the 500^th anniversary of the Augsburg Confession which sought “to maintain the unity of the church.”

20 SEP 2023 | Im Abschlussgottesdienst der Dreizehnten Vollversammlung, in dessen Rahmen auch der neue Rat offiziell in sein Amt eingeführt wurde, betonte LWB-Generalsekretärin Burghardt die Berufung, „allen Menschen das Evangelium der Versöhnung zu verkündigen“ und eine „vertrauenswürdige Welt aufzubauen“.

A deeper sense of what it means to be churches in communion

20 SEP 2023 | The Thirteenth Assembly of the LWF has concluded with a message affirming the communion’s gift of unity in diversity, and the call to serve the neighbor.

Jedności Chrześcijan przedstawili "Wspólne słowo" na Trzynastym Zgromadzeniu Ogólnym Światowej Federacji Luterańskiej, które kończy się 19 września w Krakowie.
